TO AMEND THE SWEAR-IN PROCESS AND OATH PRESENTLY ADMINISTERED TO THE ELECTED OFFICIALS, WHETHER IT BE FEDERAL OR STATE, TO HERE BY ELIMINATE THE REQUIREMENT OF SWEARING ALLEGIANCE TO A GOD OR ANY SUPREME BEING.

To amend the swear-in process and oath presently administered to the elected officials, whether it be Federal or State, to here by eliminate the requirement of swearing allegiance to a god or any supreme being. 1. Be It Enacted By The Senate And House Of The Representatives Of The 2. United States Of America In Congress Assembled, that this act may be cited as the 3. "Protection of Truth Act." 4. SECTION 1. Amending the swear in oath of any government office to exclude 5. the requirement to pledge allegiance or swear in any way to a god or supreme 6. being. 7. SECTION 2. To eliminate the use of a deity in the Pledge of Allegiance in 8. schools. 9. SECTION 3. To eliminate the phrase "In God We Trust" from all U.S. 10. denominations.
